  1. Do I need to have an account with you to place an order?

    We can create a customer account for you quickly and easily.
    You may place your first order via credit card and if you wish you may apply for credit terms for future orders.
    If credit card is your preferred payment method we are always happy to accept credit card payments.

  2. How do I establish credit terms?

    Contact our Customer Service team member via phone or email to request a credit application or download one here www.candymaker.com    
    Complete the application and return.  Our Credit Department will review your request and will notify you of credit term status.

  3. What are your lead times?

    Most often our lead times are 3 business days plus a day for overnight transit.
    Large volumes and custom projects would require longer lead times; please contact our
    Customer Service Team for additional information.

  4. What if I need my order sooner?

    Inquire with your Customer Service Team Member, who will assist you with expedited
    service and review with you associated rush charges to ensure you have the product when you need it.

  5. How do you ship your product?

    Our products are normally shipped via overnight carrier service via Federal Express.
    If you are placing a large order and time permits we are able to ship via truck.
    Inquire with our Customer Service Team for additional details.

  6. How do I order a custom logo?

    Ordering custom garnish logos is an easy process at Chocolates a la Carte.
    Simply email your logo our Customer Service Sales Team in a jpg or tiff file attachment 300 dpi or greater,
    and indicate your desired shape, possible size requirements, quantity and your required delivery date;
    and we’ll step you through completing your order.

  8. What is the shelf life of your chocolate?

    Our dark chocolate shelf life is six months.  Our white chocolate shelf life is three months.

  9. How should I store the product?

    Our product should be kept cool and dry in an area free of strong odors.
    Ideal temperature is 65 degrees and humidity free.

  10. Is your chocolate gluten free?

    Dark chocolate does not contain gluten, however it is subject to cross contamination
    as our facility is not completely gluten free.

  11. Do you have Kosher Chocolate?

    Our Dark Chocolate is Kosher Dairy Certified.
    We do not carry Kosher Parve certification.

  12. What happens if I receive broken or melted product?

    Chocolates a la Carte is proud to offer a Breakage or melting Guarantee of up to 95% of your order,
    see below for additional specifics.

  13. How do I request replacement or credit for broken or melted product?

    Inspect your product as soon as it arrives, and report breakage or melting directly within 48 hours of receiving
    to our Customer Service Team at 1-800-808-2263.  To better help us with our continuous quality improvement,
    you might be asked to supply photos of items and package along with details on breakage specifics.
